Oriental Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 pound package shredded cabbage
  • 6 green onions sliced
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 packages Ramen noodles discard flavoring
  • 3 ounces sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup margarine

Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  • Melt margarine and brown noodles (break up the noodles), almonds and sesame seeds in it. Mix the dressing together and add to other ingredients just before serving.

She says, “I also add a package of fancy lettuce, a 1/2 package of salted sunflower seeds, and 1/2 of a small can of Chinese rice noodles. I add the sunflower seeds and the rice noodles to the first ingredients when I brown them in the butter. Enjoy!”
