Nutmeg Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons rum extract
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour

Frosting:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon rum
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • dash of nutmeg

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar. Add nutmeg, egg, and extracts. Mix in sifted flour. Shape into fingers 1/2 inch in diameter and 2 inches long. Bake at 350 degrees. Cool. Mix frosting ingredients. Frost.
