Lebanese Green Beans

Ingredients

small onion chopped
1
pound
green beans fresh or frozen
6
ounces
tomato paste
1/2
teaspoon
sugar
salt and pepper to taste
18
ounces
chicken broth or water
Instructions
Sauté onion in olive oil until tender.
Add beans and tomato paste; sauté 10 minutes.
Add 3 cans chicken broth or water; simmer 45 minutes.
Serve over Lebanese rice.
Notes
I could make a meal out of this. what a great way to make green beans taste good!
