I really did invent this recipe after trying lots of different versions of Tiramisu. Real Tiramisu calls for Italian ladyfingers but they're hard to find - and our American ladyfingers turn to mush in nest Tiramisu recipes. We had Tiramisu in Italy and the texture of the ladyfingers was so much like a jellyroll cake that I Figured it would wok just as well, and it does!!!
