John D.'s Chicken-Pepper Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza crust mix
  • pizza sauce
  • 1 roasted chicken
  • 1 red bell pepper fresh or roasted
  • 1 package pizza cheese
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbled

Instructions

  • Mix pizza crust according to package directions. Press onto pizza pan. Top with desired amount of pizza sauce and sprinkle pizza cheese on top. Top with shredded roasted chicken, red bell pepper and crumbled blue cheese. Bake according to pizza crust directions.

Notes

When I was in second grade, I had a writing assignment to make up a recipe and this is what I came up with. I told the owners of a gourmet pizza restaurant in Albuquerque my idea, and they occasionally serve this for their lunch special. The flavors go together great!
