Cucumber-Vinegar Salad

Ingredients

  • 3 medium cucumbers
  • 1/4 medium onion sliced paper thin
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Peel cucumbers and slice thin. Add sliced onion and toss. Stir together vinegar, water, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over slices. Cover and refrigerate at least three hours-eight hours is even better.
