Chocolate Brownie Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Frosting:

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 pound powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Bring margarine, water, cocoa, and oil to a boil. Mix the dry ingredients together and pour in boiled mixture. Pour batter into jelly roll pan. Bake at 350ยบ for 20-25 minutes. For the frosting: boil the margarine, cocoa, and buttermilk; add the vanilla and powdered sugar and mix until well blended.
