Chinese Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 lbs. chicken wings about 20
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 2/3 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup apple juice

Instructions

  • Cut chicken wings into three pieces by cutting joints. Discard tips or reserve for soup. In 9x13 baking pan, arrange chicken in single layer. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken. Cover and refrigerate overnight, stirring occasionally. Drain the chicken, reserving marinade. Place chicken on foil-lined baking sheet. Brush with marinade and bake in a 375 degree oven for 40-50 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally. Remove from foil to serving platter and serve hot. Makes about 40 appetizers.
