Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef chicken or buffalo
  • 1 white onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic diced
  • 1 can black beans with juice
  • 1 can pinto beans with juice
  • 2 cans diced tomato with juice
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • few dashes Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  • Brown meat with onion and garlic on high heat in a crock pot. Add remaining ingredients and turn crockpot to low heat; cook until hot. Chili may be simmered all day.
  • Amy—I use 1.5 pounds meat, black beans and pinto beans.

Notes

This tastes great on a snowy day after sledding or skiing, especially when you come home and the whole house smells like dinner!
