Blondies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 cup coconut flaked

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Grease 13x9 baking pan. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs, one at a time, mix in vanilla, stir in flour mixture. Fold in pecans and coconut. Spread in pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool in pan before cutting into 24 Blondies.
