Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half divided
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 4 eggs beaten until light
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups dry cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Mix together milk, 1 cup half and half and evaporated milk. Scald. Add eggs and blend well. Mix sugar and salt. Add cottage cheese. Gradually stir into milk-egg mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into buttered baking dish. Bake at 325ยบ for 1 1/2 hours or until set. Drain off whey and add remaining half and half.
