Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar - either white or brown
  • few grains salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Mix butter, sugar, salt and flour in bowl and mix until you have crumbs. Place apples in baking dish-pour water over apples. Add cinnamon. Spread flour mixture over apples. Bake 375ยบ for about 1 hour or until apples are tender.

Notes

This recipe is from Betty's 4-H book and a great family favorite. Both Mary and Karen sent in this recipe. Karen says it's her dad's favorite.
