Stuffed Mushrooms Imperial
These are a delicious accompaniment to any holiday meal.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8×8 baking dish. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add shallots and saute until limp. Add nuts and chopped mushroom stems and saute an additional 3 minutes. Mix in bread crumbs, thyme, salt and pepper to taste. Fill mushroom caps with mixture. Place in baking dish and bake 15 minutes.
