Pumpkin Torte

Dawson ElDorado

Ingredients
  

  • 29 ounces canned pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 13 ounces evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2/3 cup margarine

Instructions
 

  1. Combine eggs, sugar, milk, pumpkin, and spices. Pour in 9×13 pan. Mix 1 box yellow cake mix with 2/3 c. margarine and sprinkle on top of pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean. Serve with whipped topping.
