Hawaiian Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard with seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 -8 ounce can crushed pineapple drained
  • 2 -3 1/2 pound broiler-fryer chickens cut into quarters
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • fresh pineapple for garnish

Instructions
 

  1. Mix brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and pineapple. Oil bottom of baking pan. Brown chicken in skillet. Put chicken in baking pan. Cover with pineapple mixture. Bake 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Garnish. (I use boneless chicken breasts)
