Betty Rudeen

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 lbs. chicken wings about 20
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 2/3 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup apple juice

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken wings into three pieces by cutting joints. Discard tips or reserve for soup. In 9×13 baking pan, arrange chicken in single layer. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken. Cover and refrigerate overnight, stirring occasionally. Drain the chicken, reserving marinade. Place chicken on foil-lined baking sheet. Brush with marinade and bake in a 375 degree oven for 40-50 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally. Remove from foil to serving platter and serve hot. Makes about 40 appetizers.
