Waffles

These are a staple in our house. I think our family eats them more often for dinner than breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 2 eggs separated
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 6 tablespoons canola oil

Instructions
 

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, egg yolks, milk, and canola oil. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold egg whites into batter. Pour batter into waffle iron and cook until golden brown. Serve with butter, syrup and powdered sugar.
