Rolled Sugar Cookies
This is the best rolled sugar cookie recipe I’ve tried (and I LOVE sugar cookies). I usually double the recipe so that I have plenty to share with family, friends and neighbors.

- Cream shortening and sugar until REALLY creamy; beat in egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture. Roll out between two pieces of plastic wrap (not too thin). Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. These cookies keep their shape. Frost and decorate as desired.
