Pumpkin Bars

We used to serve these at Swim Team dinners and other parties. The kids would polish off the whole pan!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspooncloves
  • 3/4 -1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 -1 cup chopped nuts
Frosting:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup margarine softened
  • 1 -3 ounce pac cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients. Add oil, pumpkin, eggs, and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a greased 15×10 jelly roll pan. Cool. Frost.
