Pot Roast

- Salt and pepper meat, put into roasting pan, add onion and water (about 2 inches in pan). Cover. Bake at 375ยบ until meat is tender. Add carrots, potatoes to juices (more water if necessary). Lightly salt and pepper vegetables. Cover and return to oven until vegetables are done (maybe 30 minutes or more). Remove meat and vegetables and thicken juices with flour and water mixture for gravy.
