Parfait

You can serve without the crust and spoon into parfait glasses.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups crushed pineapple puree in blender
  • 3 – 3 ounce packages any flavor Jello
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup slivered almonds

  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions
 

  1. Puree pineapple. Heat to boiling. Dissolve Jello in heated pineapple puree. Soften ice cream. When Jello mixture is partially cooled stir into softened ice cream. When ice cream mixture is nearly firm stir in nuts. Make vanilla wafer crust and pat into 9×13 pan. Pour mixture into crust. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
