Orange Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange rind
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Instructions
 

  1. Sift flour, salt, soda, cream, shortening, sugar and egg. Beat well, stir in orange juice and rind, add oats, raisins and nuts, mix in flour. Drop by spoon on sheet and bake at 350ยบ 10-12 minutes.
