Meat Balls

Christmas Smorgasbord

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 2/3 cup half and half
  • 3/4 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/4 lb. ground pork
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Instructions
 

  1. Saute onion in butter. Soak bread crumbs in half and half. Add remaining ingredients. Shape into small balls. Brown in butter. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Add water to dish while baking. Serves 4.
