Jewish Apple Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 apples pared and sliced
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs

Instructions
 

  1. Beat all ingredients together (not apples) until smooth. Pour 1/2 into pan–spread with 1/2 of the apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg. Cover with remaining batter, apples and spices on top. Bake at 350ยบ for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
