Italian Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 16 ounce can tomatoes
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 15 ounce can kidney beans undrained
  • 2 cups water
  • 5 teaspoons beef boullion granules
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1/2 cup shell pasta
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can green beans

Instructions
 

  1. Brown beef and drain. Add ingredients except cabbage, green beans and macaroni. Bring to a boil. Lower and simmer 20 minutes. Add cabbage, beans and macaroni. Bring to a boil and simmer until veggies are tender. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Taste very good with homemade croutons sprinkled on the top.
