Italian Spaghetti

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • Italian salad dressing mix sliced
  • olive oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 2 – 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
  • 2 – 12 ounce cans tomato paste
  • 1 7 1/2 ounce can sliced olives drained
  • 2 packages spaghetti sauce mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 bay leaf crumbled

Instructions
 

  1. Brown hamburger. Brown Italian Sausage. Sauté onion and green peppers in olive oil until tender. Add meat and rest of ingredients. Cover and simmer 1½ hours, stirring occasionally. Cook spaghetti noodles and drain. Serve meat sauce over hot noodles. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
