6 Week Bran Muffins
An easy way to enjoy fresh muffins for dinner–and everyone likes them!

- Pour boiling water over Nabisco bran. Cool and set aside. Blend shortening, sugar, eggs, and buttermilk. Sift flour, baking powder, and soda. Add to buttermilk mixture. Gently fold in cooled Nabisco bran mixture. Fold in Kelloggs All-Bran and mix until mushy. Tightly cover and refrigerate. Will keep for 6 weeks. When you want to use mix, dip it out (do not stir) into well greased muffin tins. Bake 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes a lot. Easy to halve recipe.
